Popular idol group B2ST have become “Hallyu missionaries” to Europe as their “Beautiful Show” World Tour brings them to Germany for the first time.
On February 11th, B2ST entered the country as their “Beautiful Show” world tour stopped in Berlin. A major German newspaper, the Berliner Zeitung, even gave B2ST comprehensive coverage in a feature story.
The newspaper introduced B2ST by saying, “Now, instead of cars and machinery, ‘pop culture’ is an export of South Korea. B2ST came to Germany to demonstrate the power of the Korean wave,” and added, “Together you can enjoy the singing and dancing power of K-POP. B2ST can become ‘Hallyu wave missionaries’.”
The article continued, “B2ST’s songs are songs that young German people like to sing at karaoke, and they have a worldwide stylishness that German youth love to follow.”
The newspaper examined B2ST’s popularity in recent years, and even drew an analogy to German boy band Tokio Hotel‘s lead singer Bill Kaulitz.
Earlier, the Morning Post had noted that “It took only 30 minutes for 600 tickets to sell out,” and called B2ST “true K-POP evanglists coming to Berlin.”
On February 12th at 7:30, B2ST will host “Beautiful Show in Berlin” at Berlin’s Columbia Halle
